Avoir Raison — Not "Être" To say "you're right" French uses avoir and raison: Tu as raison, J'ai raison. Tu es raison is wrong. The opposite is avoir tort ("to be wrong"): Tu as tort.
Moi Aussi, Moi Non Plus Match the reply to the sentence you are answering. After J'aime le jazz say Moi aussi; after Je n'aime pas le jazz say Moi non plus. Saying moi aussi to a negative sentence means the opposite of what you want.
Real French Tip — Disagree Gently French conversation values reasoning, and disagreement is normal, but soften it: Je comprends, mais… ("I understand, but…"), Pas tout à fait ("not quite"), Peut-être, mais… ("perhaps, but…"). A flat Non ! can sound abrupt with someone you don't know well.

Coming Up in Chapter 12 Chapter 12 is the last chapter of the course: when things go wrong. Delays, a lost bag, a stolen phone, the emergency numbers (15, 17, 18, 112), and the imperative for asking for help (Appelez la police ! Aidez-moi !).
