Challenge 1: Building the Writer Report Foundation — Solution Walkthrough

Steps:
  1. Type at least 2 section titles with body text beneath each.
     Apply Heading 1 (Styles panel, F11) to each title.
  2. Insert a wide table somewhere in the document.
  3. Place the cursor immediately before the table: Insert > More
     Breaks > Insert Page Break, Style = Landscape.
  4. Place the cursor immediately after the table: Insert > More
     Breaks > Insert Page Break, Style = Default Page Style (switching
     back).

Confirming it worked:

Press F5 to open the Navigator — both Heading-1 titles should appear
as a clickable outline, confirming genuine paragraph styles were
used, not direct formatting. Scroll through the document: only the
one page holding the table should appear in landscape orientation;
every page before and after it should remain portrait, since the
SECOND page break explicitly switched back to Default Page Style
immediately after the table.

WHY THIS WORKS AS AN ANSWER

This is a direct, combined application of Chapters 2 and 3: real
Heading styles make the Navigator genuinely useful (Ch.2), and TWO
separate page breaks — not one — are what isolate the landscape
orientation to exactly the one page that needs it, since Writer has
no section concept to bound how far a Page Style switch extends on
its own (Ch.3).
