klingon_grammar1-2 Exercise 2: Syllables ========================================= (a) tlhIngan tlhI . ngan (b) qatlho' qa . tlho' (c) jIyajbe' jI . yaj . be' (d) Heghlu'meH Hegh . lu' . meH Method: put a break before each consonant that is followed by a vowel. In (a) the ng is one letter, so the second syllable starts with ng. In (d) the apostrophe ends the syllable lu' and meH begins a new one. Each syllable starts with a consonant (or a digraph such as tlh, ng, gh) and contains exactly one vowel.
