Exercise 2: Finding Who Changed a Line — Possible Solution

TASK
Say which Xcode feature you would use, where you find it, and what it shows.

ANSWER
Feature: the Blame view.
Where: View -> Version Editor -> Show Blame View, or by holding the mouse
button down over the Version Editor button on the toolbar and choosing Blame
(the tutorials describe both routes).
What it shows: the file split into segments by horizontal lines, each with
the commit author and message, so you can see when the code was committed
and by whom; hovering over the blame pane gives more information.

NEXT STEP
The tutorials say you can reach the comparison view from the blame window and
see the files modified in that commit.

CAUTION
The menu paths are from tutorials of different ages. Confirm them in your
own Xcode version.
