THE PATTERN
The Stamp Act was repealed under pressure and immediately followed by the
Declaratory Act asserting full authority. The Coercive Acts, meant to end
self-government in Massachusetts, are said to have increased support for
revolution instead.

shifting because of each act specifically, and a source that states the
pattern rather than two separate summaries that merely resemble each other.
