CORRECTION
1066 is not the founding of the United Kingdom. The source treats the union of
1707 as the start of the history of the United Kingdom proper, and the entity
called the United Kingdom has changed its form since (1801, 1927).

REWRITE
"The Kingdom of Great Britain was formed in 1707, and the state became the
United Kingdom in 1801 and took its present name in 1927; 1066 belongs to the
history of the Kingdom of England."

The chapter does not cover 1066 itself; Chapter 4 does.
