Model answer (using Lordi, Finland, 2006):

Lordi's "Hard Rock Hallelujah" won for Finland in 2006. The band performed in monster costumes, so it shows how staging and image can be part of the entry, and it was a surprise because a hard-rock act won a contest often assumed to favour ballads. It was also Finland's first win after many years of poor results.

Claim to check: the year and that it was Finland's first win, using the official results.

Other acts work equally well, as long as the paragraph names what the act shows (staging, a launched career or a surprise) and one claim to check.
