Note on sources
All texts are given as the cited pages print them, with the editors' marks. The works are medieval; the editions I read are public domain or are Wikipedia/Wikisource text under CC BY-SA, as stated on each page. Beowulf is only an extract because I read no source of the whole poem; The Wanderer and The Battle of Maldon are in full from Bright's 1913 edition. I copied each text from the pages I read, but I have not checked any of them against a printed edition, so check before you rely on a spelling.
