Example: a childhood folk-dance class that taught a set of dances in costume for a performance is probably closest to a stage version, perhaps using steps from the record (documented village dances) and from the revival (the táncház style). A dance house evening is a revival. Film of village dancing in a Transylvanian village is a record. Any honest classification with a reason (who taught it, where the steps came from, whether there was an audience) is acceptable.
