hufolk1-4, Exercise 3: The Folk Art Master title

Model answer:

Useful: it gives recognition, status and sometimes support to skilled makers, and encourages the passing on of crafts. Open to question: it makes the state the judge of what is authentic, may favour work that fits an official idea of tradition, and may freeze a living craft into one approved form. Any answer that gives one point on each side is fine (check the details of the title).
