Exercise 2 - Szekesfehervar (sample answer) The medieval coronation city was largely rebuilt in the Baroque, so most of what a visitor sees is eighteenth-century. The ruins of the older coronation church are in a memorial garden, which is where the earlier city can be found. A Baroque rebuilding can bury the medieval past rather than preserve it, which is why earlier chapters relied on excavation and records. Check the details of the garden against a current source.
