Exercise 10.3 - Solution Open answer; marked on reasoning, not on a fixed conclusion. Points that can support "yes": about thirty games unbeaten, the Olympic gold, the 6-3 and 7-1 results against England, and the tactical ideas (Hidegkuti's role, fluid positions) that influenced later football. Points that can support "no" or "not clearly": no World Cup win, the loss in the final, an Olympic field of largely amateur sides, and the argument that greatness is judged by trophies. A good answer states a position, uses at least two facts from the course and acknowledges the strongest opposing point.
