For men the traditional dress (Tracht) is Lederhosen, leather breeches, usually with a checked shirt. For women it is the Dirndl, a dress with a bodice, blouse and apron. Foods, any three of: Hendl (roast half chicken), Schweinshaxe (roast pork knuckle), Brezn (large soft pretzel), Obatzda (cheese spread), Weißwurst (white sausage), Steckerlfisch (fish grilled on a stick), gingerbread hearts.
