frlit1-4, Exercise 3: A target and how it is attacked Model answer (an example): Tartuffe. The target is religious hypocrisy: a man who pretends to be devout in order to take over a household. Moliere attacks it by letting the family see through him while the master of the house cannot, so the audience laughs at the gap between show and reality. The play was banned for several years after complaints from powerful religious figures, which shows that the target was felt. Any play or fable is acceptable if the answer names a target and a method.
